Ronald Z. Carvalho
Ronald Z. Carvalho is a leader in the world of international marketing, business and advertising. He has held several executive-level positions throughout his career in Brazil, including CEO for Ogilvy Brazil, vice president of marketing for Johnson & Johnson Brazil, vice president for Heublein Brazil and others. In addition to his corporate office expertise, Carvalho served as vice president of the Tourism Public Authority for São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city. Throughout his professional career, Carvalho has assisted more than 150 corporations in the areas of marketing development and business strategy and planning. His clients have included Citicorp, Alcan, Chase Manhattan, BankBoston, the largest newspaper in Brazil–”O Estado de São Paulo”–, and various government agencies and NGOs, including the Ministry of Sports. Most recently, he developed the strategic planning for the Secretary of Culture of São Paulo State government, Dr. Joao Sayad.
Carvalho, a poet and supporter of the arts, is on the boards of 12 cultural and social non-profit corporations in Brazil. In addition, he is the representative in Brazil for New Jersey City University, teaches marketing and strategic planning and serves as director of Yázigi, a language school based in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil. Carvalho is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian, as well as Portuguese. Carvalho is a graduate of Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil, and is a resident of Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil.
Kevin Dent
Kevin Dent is a well-respected sales and marketing executive who has worked in all aspects of the marketing community for more than two decades. He started his career in the Consumer Marketing Division at AT&T and moved into director of sports and lifestyle sponsorships, where he negotiated and managed AT&T’s sponsorships of the NBA, MLS, ATP, Disney and the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. He worked for NBC Sports and subsequently HOST Communications in their grassroots events division, Streetball Partners International, started his own marketing agency and also led North America business development for Octagon Sports Marketing. He is well-versed in the international corporate sponsorship arena having negotiated large scale sponsorships deals with Nike, Gatorade, P&G, ConAgra, The U.S. Army, Chrysler, AT&T, Nestlé and many other brands, and fostered close working relationships with all U.S.- based professional sports leagues and governing bodies, including numerous Athletic Conferences and the NCAA.
Dent received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College
in 1982. He resides in New Jersey with his wife of 20 years (and “high school sweetheart”) and their three children.
Ahmed Toussaint Goudeaux
Ahmed Toussaint Goudeaux has worked for nearly a decade in consulting for small firms and start-up organizations helping them to become both nimble and strategic in the fast-moving and ever-changing business environment. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch two firms, and this zeal and expertise has helped him assist countless others with their business strategy, objectives and overall success. He brings this expertise and his passion for helping others succeed in business to his role as a Precise Advisory Group advisor.
In 2001, Goudeaux founded Oxalis Consulting, which focused on improving small businessmarketing efforts. In 2003, with his brother as his business partner, he rolled Oxalis up into aboutique consulting firm, Ontologi, which provided clients with coherent strategies and more clearly defined business plans. For clients, his main areas of responsibility were helping develop concrete firm-wide vision; developing concepts/models to connect strategy and tactics for improved decision-making; and finding, then leveraging, hidden or underutilized assets.
In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic planning expertise, Goudeaux has a love for sports, soccer in particular, and currently is completing a book on emotion and peak performance for soccer. He also is author of a second book that focuses on mentally and emotionally surviving and thriving in an office culture. He received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University in 2001. He is based in Chicago.
Debra Kushma
Debra Kushma’s extensive career includes more than three decades in senior executive leadership positions with several of the world’s leading wealth management, financial services and management consulting firms, including Morgan Stanley & Co., and Coopers & Lybrand. She is skilled in reviewing, establishing and implementing strategy and corporate management procedures in a myriad of business practices, including financial, acquisitions, human resources, corporate governance and client services.
Kushma spent 15 years (1984-1990; 1992-2001) in a variety of leadership roles at Morgan Stanley & Co., in both the New York and London offices. She started in the fixed income division, moved to work within the office of the president, and then later held executive positions in the asset management, information technology and international private client divisions. She also served as chief operating officer (2004-05) of Lockwood Gibb Ltd., as assistant director of career services (2003) at the London Business School (LBS), as manager of client services (1990-92) for Fischer Francis Trees & Watts in New York City, and as a consultant (1983-84) in the management consulting services division for Coopers & Lybrand.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Kushma serves as a volunteer for many organizations and causes. She recently served as the host committee chairwoman for the 2010 and 2011 Women’s Sports Foundation Annual Award Dinners. She also has held leadership roles in youth sports leagues and school booster clubs, and is the parent of two Division I and one Division III athletes.
Kushma earned a BSE from Princeton University (1980), and as a senior was the recipient of the M. Taylor Pyne Prize, the highest general undergraduate distinction awarded. She was awarded a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship and subsequently earned an MSc in Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science (1981). She earned an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1983.
Brian Rader
Brian Rader, Esq., is an attorney who has worked in a variety of legal roles and is an NFLPA certified agent. He brings a wealth of experience to his role as an advisor with Precise Advisory Group having worked in private practice, in a state court system and with the National Football League (NFL). As an associate with one of the largest law firms in New Jersey he served as outside general counsel to non-profit community associations throughout New York and New Jersey. Rader also previously served as an associate with another New Jersey firm as well as a judicial clerk/mediator for the Honorable Mary K. Costello of the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division, Hudson Vicinage. As a legal intern at the NFL, Rader reviewed and approved employment contracts for all thirty-two (32) NFL teams. Additionally, Rader assisted NFL hearing officers with employment and contract disputes between NFL employees and their respective NFL teams.
Rader is an NFLPA Certified Agent and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York
and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey. In July 2011, Mr. Rader negotiated an NFL player contract with the Green Bay Packers.Rader received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Justice Studies from The College of
New Jersey in 2006 and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2009. Rader lives in Hoboken, N.J.
Charles White
Charles White, co-founder of Precise Advisory Group, has had a distinguished career as an attorney in corporate legal practice specializing in media and sports entertainment businesses. He has developed an expertise in cable television and the emerging new media environment, and has maintained a focus on the rapidly changing world of media and technology.
During his six-year (2003-09) tenure at the National Football League (NFL), White held several executive positions in the global media and cable television arenas. As NFL vice president, media counsel, White provided legal services for the NFL Network and NFL International Media, including distribution, program license, syndication and talent agreements. White’s professional career also has included serving as counsel at Goodwin Procter LLP in New York (1997-2002); president and counsel in the business areas of cable, interactive media and technology for Viacom International Inc.; assistant counsel for Manhattan Cable Television, a Time Warner subsidiary; and general counsel for Paragon Cable Manhattan. While his expertise was developed primarily from years handling media issues in corporations, White also worked for three years in private practice with Webster & Sheffield as a litigation associate. This was preceded by two years with the New York State Supreme Court: Appellate Division, Second Department, as a law assistant.White is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the New Federal Theatre, Inc. White received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He is based in New York City.
Connie Wilson
Connie Wilson is a 20-year public/media relations specialist and sports business veteran who has worked with some of the world’s top athletes, global business leaders and worldwide media. She has worked at the league level (LPGA), at one of the leading sports management companies (Advantage International, now called Octagon), has successfully run media operations at major events, including The Solheim Cup, and launched her own company (Connie Wilson Communications LLC). Wilson also has created an online media center, the first-ever blog credential policy in golf, and managed year-round media and public relations efforts for numerous LPGA, Champions Tour, cycling, sailing and grassroots events. She also served as tournament coordinator for the 1991 LPGA Championship. She is Precise Advisory Group’s director of communications and a seasoned executive who brings decades of relevant experience and knowledge to every project.
Wilson is a graduate of Wheaton College (Mass.), where she earned a B.A. in Economics.
Claire Zovko
Claire Zovko is a rising attorney with a passion for sports law, which stems from her love of sports in general. In addition to playing sports all of her life, she has worked with the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder and WNBA’s Seattle Storm, traveled abroad as a teaching assistant for international sports law programs (South Texas College of Law in Florence, Italy, and Stetson College of Law in Lausanne, Switzerland) and worked within one of the country’s leading university athletic departments (University of Miami). She has led research projects on topics ranging from NCAA rules and regulations to diverse criminal law issues and has assisted with interpretive issues for a variety of legal projects.
Zovko is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, Florida Bar Entertainment and Sports Law section, and the Miami-Dade Sports Commission. She also serves on the advisory board to the University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Zovko received a B.A. in Business Administration and Mathematics minor from Pacific Lutheran University (2004), where she competed on the university’s basketball team, and a J.D. from University of Miami School of Law (2009). A native of Seattle, Zovko is now based in Miami.
